Weaving and waiting for spring!

What a day started and finished two baskets - worked on four others.  I am trying to get baskets done for some high school friends and one other for a donation.  I need to focus, but I can feel spring break slipping away and I am trying to pack a lot into it.  Maybe if I get ambitious I will post a few pictures of what I have done.

Still no weaving is getting done

So I decided that it was time to get some reed wet, and I did.  But... about the time I decided I might weave, I realized I was hungry, so I fixed dinner.  Well.... while fixing dinner I remembered that I needed to put laundry in the dryer, so downstairs I went.  So.... while downstairs I saw that my school "stuff" needed to be straightened around.  Then.....an hour had passed and I went into my basket room to weave, only to remember that I had taken everything up to Rod's studio.  I headed up stairs only to have Rod suggest that we watch a movie.  I removed the reed from the water, dumped the water and plopped down on the couch to watch movies.

Still no weaving is getting done!

Never enough time to weave

I wish there was more week in my week. It seems like every time I want to weave, something gets in the way.

Today I started to finish a basket that has been sitting in my basket studio for over 3 years and I did get it up to the rim row.  But then.........I heard the washer and dryer calling me, which led to folding laundry, which led to emptying and filling the dishwasher and here it is about 3 hours later and I still haven't finished the basket.  

Do I need more self-discipline, or do I just need to stop letting things get in my way. That seems like such an easy thing to do and yet those things take up so much of my time.

I will weave and then I will post some pictures of what I have finished.
